What your money can do in empowering a child or OVC family
€5 provides a child with basic medication for treated diseases for one month
€1 can facilitate the testing of one person for HIV/AIDS
€2 can transport a child, a pregnant woman or an old woman to a health centre
€15 can sustain a LUCOF Village Health Team for a whole day
€100 covers the cost of one medical personnel for a week
€75 can organize a village sensitization workshop on malaria, HIV and community development
€5 buys a mosquito net that protects children and adults, particularly pregnant women from getting malaria
€75 treats 45 children infected with jiggers or tungiasis parasite, enabling them to walk again and attend school regularly
€2500 trains 50 teachers in the LUCOF child and youth health and HIV education with key health knowledge and skills that can benefit many community schools
€5 provides a balanced diet to a vulnerable child for a full week

€25 enables a vulnerable girl to attend school month around through the provision of a year’s supply of sanitary towels
