LUBEGA COSMAS FOUNDATION UGANDA

human livelihood first

Our dedicated and committed team of volunteers is also of paramount importance in our projects and pogrammes. LUCOF has a team of volunteers, including self-help community groups, youth groups, women groups, local community leaders, members from the served households. Our team is made up of passionate and motivated people with vast experience living, working and travelling in the impoverished and poor areas where we operate.

Volunteers also are members of the professionals’ class, including teachers, doctors, social scientists, IT specialists, among others

Volunteers play a crucial part in helping us bring about lasting improvements in the quality of life for deprived children, women, the aged, youth and poorest communities. Whether you give a couple of hours, a day or a year, we really value the time you spend with us. Whether you are looking for work-related experience, filling in gaps in your CV, or just wanting to help, we would really appreciate your support. We often have volunteer vacancies throughout the organisation, whether working on a fundraising task, helping out in the Finance Department, carrying out research for our different campaigns or helping out with administration in our Corporate Services Department.

Our volunteers fill critical jobs in our organization and provide the much-needed individual attention that is crucial for young community’s growth and development. As a volunteer for LUCOF UGANDA, you will be participating in a meaningful way in projects that are valued by the communities with whom we work. Your work makes a difference!

We truly believe in making a difference and empowering our volunteers and the people in the communities we impact. We are passionate about our areas of operation and its long-term sustainability, which means that we will go out of our way to ensure measurable results for projects through meaningful volunteer experiences. We are also passionate about our charity LUCOF and the good work we are doing in underprivileged communities.

"I can honestly say I learned and benefited as much or more than those we were helping, giving me deeper insight and perspective that I have been able to keep with me and share with others upon my return home." "I never had a better feeling about anything else than being a volunteer." "From gardening, to painting and refurbishment, to reading club, to tree planting, I could see the positive and sustainable effects the LUCOF UGANDA projects were having in the area." "Don't hesitate, jump right in to these programs, and you will have one of the best experiences of your life!"
